About Me
Hi, I’m Tonyé (MPH, CHES) | Founder, SYNCD Pilates
-
I’m a pilates instructor with 5 years of experience teaching fitness and movement, with a practice rooted in helping people feel more capable, connected, and confident in their bodies.
I’m certified in Mat, Reformer, and Pre- and Postnatal Pilates, and I’m continuing my education through a comprehensive certification in both Classical and Contemporary Pilates. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients across many different stages of movement, from athletes looking to build strength and move with greater efficiency, to clients returning to movement during injury recovery, and women navigating the physical changes of pregnancy and postpartum.
I believe pilates should meet you where you are. No two bodies move exactly alike, and no two people come to their practice with the same needs.
My approach is thoughtful and individualized, using movement to build strength, improve body awareness, and create a deeper understanding of how you move.
Ultimately, my goal is simple: to help you feel better and stronger in your body, not just during our sessions, but in the way you move through your life.

The chair is definitely one of my favorites because it’s small but mighty. You can get a full-body workout on such a small piece of equipment, and there’s such a range from basic to advanced. I also love how many ways you can translate movements from the mat or Reformer onto the Chair.

The Knee Stretch Series is my favorite (so far!) because it’s such a full-body movement. You get a really good stretch while still finding that deep muscle engagement, and I love that it gives you the opportunity to connect your movement with your breath and find a rhythm and flow.
